​Canadian Showpiece

Just south of Calgary in the foothills of Alberta, Canada, the McIlroy brothers of Diamond Valley Custom Homes (DVC Homes) remodeled this private countryside estate’s master bathroom into an extraordinary, art-deco showpiece. Specializing in luxury custom homes and acreage developments, DVC Homes made over this en suite by first removing its existing free-standing tub and shower curtain that blocked the large windows overlooking the beautiful, expansive countryside. The McIlroy brothers moved the shower’s location to accentuate the view and to make way for the gorgeous Gridscape® 1 shower door. The Gridscape door also inspired many other design elements, such as the shower’s herringbone-patterned white subway tile, eternal calacatta gold quartz counter tops, and matte black geometric pendant lighting.
